Personal Geography Bio
Hi, I'm Jael. If there is one thing I want you to know about me, it is that I am a follower of Jesus Christ. my interest is to do the best I can to help others with whatever it is that is going on in their life. Lots of things that I like to do happen outside. I like to run, read in the hammock, listen to music, and swim.
Look around you. There are people around you that are hungry and homeless. We don't have to go to other countries to realize that. What concerns me is that these people will never get food or homes. Some of us live in luxury, while others in poverty.
Giraffes, zebras, lions, deserts, and jungles are in one place in the world that I'd love to visit: Africa. It would be awesome to go to Africa and see these things in person. You see pictures and movies about all these things across the world, but can't see them. Someday, I am going to go to Africa to help the people and see the scenery.
I am looking forward to studying religion in social studies this year so I can see the difference between what other people believe, oppose to what I believe: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," (John 3:16). It's going to be interesting to learn about religion so I know what to look for and stay away from. One thing that I do want to know, is how many religions there are.
By the end of the school year, I expect to know more about the different cultures, ancient history, religion, and Greece. I don't know very much about ancient Greece, and I can't say that I'm looking forward to it, seeing as I am not big on history and such. But, I hope I am proved wrong.
